On this day...
1646, King Charles I surrendered to the Scottish rebellion under Oliver Cromwell. The first English Civil War ended, the Parliamentarian prevailed.
1789, after 150 years under oblivion and the absolute rule of generations of kings, the French Estates-General convened as a national voice, marking the beginning of the Revolution, from which blossomed the first Republic of Europe.
1944, the defiance of Mahatma Gandhi finally won his freedom from imperialist jails. India gained a step closer to liberty.
1945, the Netherlands and Denmark liberated from the iron heel of the Third Reich.
Liberation is sweet. It's even better being liberated from yourself. Or your own obligation.
Sometimes, you just stop owning your life, your success. Instead, they own you. You know it when you feel tired and weary but yet you cannot rest. You know it when your decision are no more bound to your will. You know it when your morning feels sick.
Ambition, desire, lust, pride. They are but momentary. Peace is what makes our lives worthwhile. At least mine.
Today, I found peace. It came in form of a dream. It gave me a choice between itself and the mundane progress. I'm glad I made the right choice. There is much to feel, much to see once you liberate yourself from the endless cycle of habits.
Today, I declare my liberation. My life does not own me. Nothing decides what I do, what I am. For the decision is Mine.
Btw, Happy birthday, Karl Marx.

For all those of the real, wisdom is achieve through pain and love and these are the only true things. Reality is when you sleep and when you wake you continue to die. realizing this you only have a little bit of time to stop dying and start living.
